I was originally concerned because New Orleans's Slutwalk was originally scheduled for October and was short-noticedly pushed back to April.  It ended up being a perfect time since lately so many more of our concerns on the treatment of womyn have been in jeopardy from the growing number of government officials trying to push laws on our bodies and certain media entities have been name-calling as many outspoken womyn as they can see.  It's sad that after so many other amazing Slutwalks have occurred all over the country that people are still trying to slut-shame and legislate what we do with our bodies.  It's so important right now to be in the know of what the legislatures are attempting to do.  From the presidential candidates to the house and senate, men are trying to take away our rights to accurate and necessary medical care. Please do research into your legislaters and into who you're going to vote for this fall.
